ModulesModules are optional categories of questions that provide more detail about a given environmental theme. Modules can be selected (or de-selected) via the Module tab in My Envirostep, and will appear as a new category of questions in the users questionnaire if selected. Modules do not contribute to a users overall Envirostep score, but performance for selected modules will be shown in the users report. Users also have the option to share their overall Envirostep score with the developer of any module. Large organisations can develop their own modules and add them to Envirostep, to provide users with information and/or to assess user performance against module content. Modules enable organisations to evaluate the performance of users in general (for public modules), or to monitor the performance of their suppliers, contractors, branches, members etc. (for private modules). - Public modules are accessible to to all Envirostep users, and are typically used to provide users with more detailed information about an environmental topic. The owner of a public module can view the following user details: score (for that module), business type, business size and region (but they will not be able to identify or contact individual organisations).
- Private modules are only available to users invited by the module owner, and are typically used to evaluate the performance of suppliers, contractors, branches or members etc. The owner of a private module can view the following user details: business name, contact details, score, business type, business size and region. Annual fees apply where organisations wish to add private modules to Envirostep.
Anybody wanting to develop a new Envirostep module (public or private) should contact our Administrator at: envirostep@telarc.co.nz Return to User Guide
